The president of the Aragonese Football Federation, Manuel Torralba, will be in charge of cutting the inaugural ribbon.
This year, the municipality of Zaidín is celebrating its festivities in grand style. The celebrations for the Assumption began on Wednesday, August 14th, and among the scheduled events is the inauguration of the new football field facilities with a match between CD Zaidín and the club's veterans, as well as a tribute to the club's youth team, winners of the 20223/24 League.
This August 15th, Zaidín will inaugurate its new football field facilities, coinciding with its main festivities. The renovation work, carried out by Hormigones Fraga, represents an investment of €300.000, of which €154.000 comes from the 2023 Provincial Plan for Economic Cooperation in Works and Services of the Huesca Provincial Council . The improvements have enhanced accessibility to the facilities and the overall integration of the complex into the landscape.
Specifically, a covered stand has been built using gabion walls, the irrigation system and the turf of the football pitch have been replaced, and a perimeter walkway has been created allowing spectators to watch matches from the promenade alongside the road. “We are facing a reform that contributes to strengthening a sure commitment to offering healthy leisure alternatives that promote values associated with sport,” explained José María Belenguer, sports councilor of the Zaidín City Council, during a visit to the works along with Isaac Claver, president of the Provincial Council of Huesca, and María José Vicente, mayor of Zaidín.
