Royal Decree 306/2020 of February 11 seeks to prevent the spread of diseases among animals and minimize the risk of external contamination
The proper installation of sanitary changing rooms outside farms, adapted to current regulations, ensures compliance with the Royal Decree and the regional specifications of each autonomous community. Furthermore, it plays a fundamental role in disease prevention in livestock environments. This regulation is already in force and mandatory for pig farms.
Pig facilities can be breeding grounds for pathogens and the inadvertent entry of infectious agents that could significantly affect animal health and overall livestock production.
