The causes are still unknown
This afternoon, Tuesday, March 5, both Instagram and Facebook (Meta) experienced a service outage in several countries, affecting numerous users and leaving them unable to access their accounts or see updates. It is estimated that the incident may have affected millions of users.
The problems began around 16:30 PM (Spanish time) and the cause is currently unknown. Initially, the WhatsApp application, also owned by Meta, appeared to be functioning more normally.
