Alufema falls at home to a direct rival and the senior women's team suffers two defeats; only the girls' under-14 team manages to pick up points.
Overall, a day to forget for Club Baloncesto Peña Fragatina , as it has been marked by several defeats in all categories and only one positive result has been obtained at the grassroots level.
The hardest blow came at the Cortes de Aragón pavilion, where Alufema CB Peña Fragatina fell 52-67 to CB Balaguer in a crucial match in the fight for promotion. Things didn't improve with the women's senior team 's double-header : they ended up with two defeats. First, they lost at home to CEP Vallfogona (51-56) in a close game, and then they returned empty-handed from their visit to CB Alpicat (78-55).
At the youth level, the only bright spot came from the girls' under-14 team , who secured a clear victory away at CENG Artesa (4-58). The other teams were unable to add to their tally. The girls' under-14 team lost by a single point to CE Xamba (58-59), while the girls' under-16 team also fell in Artesa (69-42).
The defeats extended to the other categories : the girls' mini team lost to Força Lleida (45-76), the boys' mini team to CN Tàrrega (35-51), the girls' pre-mini team to Sedis (46-42), and the boys' under-14 team to Força Lleida (63-13). The boys' under-18 team also failed to secure any points, losing a close match against Sedis (75-69), as did the boys' under-16 team, who were defeated on their visit to CB Torrefarrera (73-28).
