The contract initially lasts for one school year.
The object of the contract is the service of revitalization for CASA FERRABRÁS in the academic year 2023-24, with a leisure time monitor with a regular schedule from 15:00 to 20:00 on the days on which the service is provided.
As stated in the tender documents, this service was provided directly until last year through the hiring of City Hall staff. Because the pool of available positions quickly ran out of vacancies and absenteeism was difficult to address while complying with the legal requirements imposed on this Administration, it was decided to conduct the first course using this type of contract.
The aim is to assess whether providing the service through a contractor who is not subject to the rigidities of public sector employment contracts is more satisfactory for the service. Based on the results, a decision will be made for the coming year regarding whether to extend the contract period using this system or continue with the system in place until 2023.
