The city of Fraga is preparing for one of the season's major cultural events . The prestigious International Ballet Company will arrive in the capital of the Bajo Cinca region next Friday, June 12th, as part of its highly anticipated 2026 Tour with a top-tier performance: Ballet Stars Gala , a production that will bring together renowned international soloists of classical dance on stage.
The event promises to transform Fraga into the epicenter of ballet in Aragon for an evening in which the public can enjoy some of the most emblematic pieces in the history of dance. A unique opportunity for lovers of culture and the performing arts to enjoy a large-scale spectacle without leaving the province.
A journey through the great works of classical ballet
The gala will feature a carefully curated repertoire comprised of excerpts and solos from some of the most celebrated works in the history of ballet . Scenes from true masterpieces will come to life on stage, including Swan Lake, a symbol of elegance and technical lyricism; Don Quixote, marked by the virtuosity and energy of Spanish dance; and The Sleeping Beauty, one of the most refined compositions in the classical repertoire.
The program will also include pieces from Le Corsaire, with its spectacular technical and acrobatic display; Raymonda, considered one of the greatest expressions of the academic school; and La Sylphide, an indisputable reference point for romantic ballet.
International soloists on stage
The production features the conceptual direction of Cristina Terentiev, Alexei Terentiev and Juan Francisco Gómez, in addition to the organization of Sistema Producciones.
One of the great attractions of the gala will be precisely its cast, made up of outstanding dancers and leading international figures such as Cristina Terentiev, Alexandru Balan, Ilona Baitler, Sergiu Zdanchi, Mariia Lytvynova, Alexandru Litvinov, Vera Lenskaya and Petr Raikov, who will bring personality and their own style to each performance.
The staging will be enhanced by the lighting design of Luis Zapata and the sound work of Ivan Bogdan, elements that will contribute to creating a visual and emotional experience of great impact.
