The project's mobile photo studio, set up in the camper van known as La Bitxa , will be located next to the church in Chalamera. Participation is free and open to local residents and anyone connected to the community.
The activity is funded by the Provincial Council of Huesca (DPH) through its 2026 Traveling Exhibitions Program and will be free for participants.

Create a Chalamera file
Nomad Portrait is driven by photographers Carlos Pericás and Eli Garmendia, from Nomad Studio , and proposes the creation of a contemporary archive of small towns through their inhabitants.
The portraits, life stories, and other documentary material generated during the visit become part of the project's archive. Each person photographed receives a physical copy and a digital version of their portrait.
The initiative seeks to make this archive a legacy of the community itself for future generations , preserving an image of who is part of the rural villages in the 2020s.
The project is funded by the Provincial Council of Huesca (DPH) , within the 2026 Traveling Exhibitions Program. In this edition, Nomadic Portrait will incorporate two new locations in the province into the archive.
Outdoor Portraits, on Sunday
The visit to Chalamera will end on Sunday night with Retratos a la Fresca , a public projection of the portraits made during the days of activity.
The meeting will take place at 21:00 p.m. , when residents and participants can gather to see the results of the work carried out during the project's stay in the town.
Nomadic Portrait has already visited several municipalities, and in the province of Huesca, last year it visited Alberuela de Tubo, Riglos, and Santa Cilia . Now, the project arrives in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region to add Chalamera to this photographic archive of rural communities.
