The Bajocinco club participated this past weekend (June 21, 22 and 23) in the Spanish Olympic and Paralympic Rowing Championship held in Seville
The Capri Club of Mequinenza obtained very good results in the national competition held this past weekend, as of the seven boats that competed, five of them qualified for A or B finals.
The results obtained by the paddlers from Bajo/Baix Cinca are as follows:
– 2xCM Yeray Martínez- Paulo Guimerà 5th position.
– 1xCM Adam Rahibi. 10th Position
– 1xCM Alex Vilella. Did not qualify for the quarterfinals
– 2-CF Sofía Serveto- Iratxe Ibarz. 9th Position
– 1xJM Aarón Màrquez. 5th Position
– 2xJM Tiberiu Damián – Iván Godia. Not qualifying for the semifinals
– 1xJF Gisela Hierro. 12th Position
It is worth mentioning that all but one of the crews were first-year students, remembering that the categories are for two people.
In less than two weeks, Capri will travel to Banyoles for the Spanish Junior/Children's Championship.
