Isaac Claver, president of the Provincial Council of Huesca, visited the Bajo/Baix Cinca region this weekend.
This year's event broke its participation record with 90 stalls, and hundreds of people from across the region and neighboring areas visited Zaidín on Sunday, April 14th, enjoying beautiful weather. The President of the Huesca Provincial Council, Isaac Claver, joined the mayor, María José Vicente, and all the residents of Zaidín for the 17th edition of their multidisciplinary fair.
This year's event has been particularly marked by the difficulties facing the primary sector. In fact, agriculture and livestock farming are the main economic activities, not only in Zaidín, but throughout the entire region. Isaac Claver emphasized that "the primary sector in the province of Huesca combines innovation with a beautiful tradition passed down from generation to generation." Furthermore, in the Bajo Cinca region, "they are a fundamental pillar of economic activity and perfectly represent the rural pride we feel for our land. This pride, together with the talent of our people and their daily efforts, motivates us, at the Provincial Council, to work with even greater enthusiasm every day."
Claver thanked the mayor, María José Vicente, the entire municipal corporation and all the associations for their involvement and effort, and for the invitation to the Fair, and stated that "as long as this event continues to grow, it will be a good indicator that Zaidín and the towns of Bajo Cinca are very dynamic and vibrant."
