The four graduating students have given two recitals this week as the culmination of the six courses they completed.
Four students from the Fraga Municipal Professional Conservatory have completed their sixth year of Professional Studies this month. Ariadna Miró, Nuria Parladé, Paula Parladé, and Esther Villagrasa have thus become the first graduating class to earn a professional degree from the Fraga-based educational center.
As a culmination of their six years of study, and coinciding with the end-of-year auditions of the other conservatory students, the four musicians gave two recitals this week at the Castle . Ariadna Miró (violin) and Nuria Parladé (violin) performed several pieces on Monday, while Paula Parladé (flute) and Esther Villagrasa (guitar) performed on Tuesday.
After completing this stage, one of them, Esther Villagrasa, will continue her musical studies after passing the entrance exam at the Catalonia College of Music (Esmuc). The young woman from Fraga, who was selected from more than 450 applicants , will study composition in Barcelona.
“The management team and teachers are very proud of the four students for their great work during all this time and, of course, we hope that this will be the first of many more graduating classes from this Municipal Professional Conservatory ,” said the center's director, Javier Lanao.
For his part, Mayor Ignacio Gramún remarked that “this graduation is a reward for the hard work and effort put in over these six years.” “Congratulations to all of them, and above all, I want to wish them the best of luck in this new chapter of their lives, which I’m sure will be full of success ,” Gramún added.
