The recreational association is appealing for volunteers to help with activities during the upcoming Pilar Festival 2024.
That community organizations are not at their peak is something all socio-cultural entities in our region know very well. It is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain non-profit projects focused on the daily activities and life of municipalities through cultural, social, or sporting events.
Peña Fragatina, an organization with over 4.000 members, both adults and children, has launched an appeal for volunteers for the upcoming 2024 Pilar Festival . As they stated at last Friday's meeting and via social media, " every little bit of help contributes to a better festival for everyone ."
The Board explained that any volunteer who wants to collaborate, even with little time to prepare an activity, is already enough to help Peña Fragatina, since " it is very difficult, if not impossible, to get to everything sometimes ."
It is not necessary to be in all the activities or every day , so the association has indicated to its members and supporters to look at the program and if they see an activity in which they can fit in and have a good time collaborating , " which is what it's all about at the end of the day ", do not hesitate to contact Peña Fragatina.
