The match kicked off at Santa Quiteria, which looked fantastic, as always. In the early stages, both teams seemed hesitant, but perhaps the home side had a slight edge and were trying to string together vertical attacks in search of Salas' goal. However, it was Ontiñena CF who struck first, with Mir making it 0-1 after a fantastic set-piece play.
Shortly after, following a penalty awarded due to the heavy rain, Tardienta equalized. Just minutes before halftime, Guillem scored again, a second goal that would provide a much-needed boost for the second half.
After the start of the second half, Ontiñena looked fired up, as they have been lately, and in the opening minutes, Oriol scored the third goal with a brilliant chip over the home goalkeeper. Samate then added a fourth, getting back on the scoresheet. Shortly after, he made it five after a fantastic cross. In the final stages of the match, Samate scored again to seal the final score.
