Notable return to league play for the teams of Bajo/Baix Cinca

With the arrival of September, league competitions also return. They will do so gradually: so far, they have kicked off in the Third Division, Regional Preferente, and First Regional Divisions.

Third Federation

UD Fraga hasn't forgotten how to win. Quite the opposite: in their long-awaited return to Tercera RFEF , they dispatched CD Robres (1-2) on the opening day in a match where the tension didn't rise until the final stages. Fraga took the lead in the 72nd minute thanks to a penalty from Nacho Rivera, which was answered by a goal just before the 90th minute. But in a truly frantic finish, Vinicius Policarpo leveled the score at 1-1, scoring the winning goal for the home side.

Regional preferred

Ontiñena didn't fare as well, although it wasn't a complete disaster either . Their match at El Balsal against Atlético Binéfar ended in a 1-1 draw. The home side took the lead through Adrissa just before the hour mark, but the equalizer came a few minutes later. And, as expected, the score remained unchanged for much longer.

First Regional

In the Primera Regional, as we mentioned in our preview , there's always plenty to talk about. This opening weekend, in particular, saw a veritable goal fest from all the teams we're interested in. Peña Fragatina kicked off the season with a 2-2 draw against Monzón, while Fraga B and Mequinenza had the better of the action : both started emphatically with 4-1 victories (against Robres and Juventud Almudévar, respectively). Fraga's performance was especially dominant: they were already 3-0 up after just 36 minutes.
