Mequinenza will host one of the most important events on the regional rowing calendar this Sunday, June 7th, with the Aragon Rowing Championship. The event will bring together athletes of all ages, from children and teenagers to veterans, including cadets, juniors, under-23s, and seniors, in both men's and women's categories. There will also be mixed events in several categories.
The youngest rowers will compete over a distance of 500 meters, while the other categories will face courses of 1.000 meters. In those races with high participation, elimination heats will be held to determine the finalists.
At the end of the competition, medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category and modality.
The championship will once again make Mequinenza one of the main reference points for Aragonese rowing, thanks to a regatta course that hosts top-level training and competitions every year.
