The execution period is two months with an investment of approximately €387.000 financed through the Unified Grant Plan of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza
The company Mondo Ibérica has begun installing artificial turf at the "Las Rías" Municipal Stadium, as planned following the contract award by the Mequinenza Town Council. The initial work involves leveling and preparing the ground for the installation of irrigation and drainage pipes, as well as the structures that will support the goalposts and the various materials upon which the turf will be laid.
The installation is scheduled to be completed within two months, allowing the up to six teams of Mequinenza Club Deportivo, including youth and first teams, who are expected to begin the 2024-2025 season, to conduct their preseason training on the new pitch. The project represents an investment of €386.898, fully funded through the Unified Grant Plan (PLUS) of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza (DPZ).
