The cyclist from Mequinenza finished the competition with a fifth position in the X Titánica Riodeva MTB and adds a new title after conquering the Under-23 category in 2025
Marcos Soler Roca (ECOTISA-Eventos Vinilo), a cyclist from Mequinenza, has been crowned champion of the Elite-Sub23 category of the 2026 Aragón XCM Cup by Cyclon . The competition concluded this Saturday, August 29th, with the X Titánica Riodeva MTB race in Riodeva (Teruel). Soler secured the champion's jersey after finishing fifth overall in the final race of the season.
The rider from Bajo/Baix Cinca completed the Titánica MTB Extreme course in 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 15 seconds , 13:51 behind the winner, Diego Ferriz Lorente. Soler was also the first Under-23 rider to cross the finish line in a race that brought together participants from the different categories of the Cup.
The race, organized by the Riodeva Cycling Club, featured a 62,4-kilometer course with 1.800 meters of elevation gain , starting and finishing in Riodeva and winding through the Sierra de Javalambre mountain range. The Extreme category counted towards the 2026 Aragón XCM Cup by Cyclon and served to definitively determine the champions in each age group.
With the points obtained in Riodeva, Marcos Soler closed the season as Elite-Sub23 champion of the Aragón XCM Cup , whose jersey he received at the end of the race along with the rest of the winners of the circuit.
The result builds on the success achieved by the cyclist from Mequinenza in 2025 , when he also arrived at the Riodeva Titanic with a chance of winning the title and ended up being crowned Under-23 champion of the XCM by Cyclon Cup . Back then, he finished tenth in the overall classification of the race and second in the Under-23 category, a result sufficient to secure the championship.
A year later, Soler once again closes the Cup calendar at the top and does so by also improving his performance in Riodeva, where he has gone from tenth place overall in 2025 to fifth place in 2026.
