The Fraga City Council has launched a campaign to inform the public about the proper use of the Recycling Center.
Verónica Martos, councilor for municipal services of the Fraga City Council, explained this week on the street, together with PreZero, the company that manages the municipal cleaning service, the importance of making good use of the city's Recycling Center.
Furthermore, he reminded everyone that bulky items have not been allowed to be left on the street for several years now, as " it gives an impression of dirtiness and neglect that is unbecoming of Fraga ." It is a common misconception that there are two designated days/nights for placing bulky items next to the containers, but this is incorrect; they must be taken to the recycling center.
However, the councilwoman clarified that in cases of need due to lack of a vehicle, reduced mobility, or any other issue, citizens can contact municipal services and arrange for collection by the cleaning service. " The City Council is here to make things easier, but whenever possible, you should go to the Recycling Center ."
On the other hand, Martos also reminded everyone of the importance of recycling and caring for the environment and indicated that, at the Recycling Center, there is a municipal worker who will help them and explain where they should deposit each item.
