The thirteen "Mice" are saying goodbye to the "La Ruella" Municipal Nursery School in Mequinenza. Next year they will begin a new educational stage at the María Quintana School.
The Goya Hall in Mequinenza hosted the graduation ceremony for the 2024 class of students from the "La Ruella" Municipal Infant School. The 13 students are closing one chapter in their lives and will begin another in September, continuing their education at the María Quintana Public School. It was a heartwarming event filled with anecdotes, where the "Mice" class was joined by family and friends to celebrate their transition to "big school."
Before the presentation of diplomas, caps, and gifts, the teachers told a story in which the students were the main characters and in which, through their effort and skills, they were able to reach the moon. Afterward, they addressed the children with heartfelt words to encourage them as they prepare for the start of the new school year.
Finally, before sharing a snack, the students' parents, at the end of the event, wanted to thank the educators for their work and involvement in this first stage of their children's schooling.
The "La Ruella" Municipal Nursery School in Mequinenza will reopen in September, maintaining its extended hours until 5 p.m. and, for the first time, offering care for children between 4 and 12 months old. This latter measure responds to requests from families and aims to facilitate work-life balance.
