Four content creators from this region were nominated for an award, but ultimately no trophy went to the Bajo/Baix Cinca area.
“ Just getting this far and being nominated is already a prize ,” “ The fact that the Bajo/Baix Cinca region and what we do in our area are known throughout Aragon is already a great honor . ” These are some of the comments Paula López and Cristina Canales, also known as COCOLEBREL and Cristina50fresas on Instagram, shared with us after the awards ceremony. These two content creators from our region have amassed thousands of followers on social media. They create fashion and lifestyle content. Paula is a designer, and Cristina showcases fashion-loving women of a certain age who are eager to enjoy life.
Despite not winning any awards, both agreed on the importance of being there and being present alongside the top content creators in Aragon. " The fact that the Bajo/Baix Cinca region is represented is a great achievement ," and all of us, nominated or not, should be proud that our region was represented at this gala.
Furthermore, these two women wanted to pay homage to their homeland through their outfits. Paula wore a 'Picaport' , a hairstyle typical of 'Les Dones de Faldetes' (the women in skirts) from Fraga, and earrings like those worn by women in the capital of the Bajo/Baix Cinca region a century ago. In addition, the clothing she wore, designed by herself, was a tribute to the colors of Aragon. For her part, Cristina wore two designs by Laura Mir , inspired by the blossoming and pink color of the fruit trees in our region, such as cherry and peach trees.

At Diario del Bajo Cinca, we wanted to support the representatives of our region and didn't want to miss the gala. The ceremony was enlivened by comedians and Aragonese folklore, in addition to the awards offered by the ceremony's sponsors.
