The 'bugger race' is one of the new activities that is attracting the most attention
For the second year, Zaidín is hosting this unusual vehicle competition, where each group prepares their contraption to compete in the race . The course will be filled with foam, water balloons, and countless obstacles that the participants will have to overcome to win the prize.
As the festival committee explained, a similar race used to be held years ago, but it was discontinued. Last year it was revived in this format, and the young people really enjoyed it because there's high participation and it's a very exciting event that brings a lot of energy to the whole town.
The falls and stumbles are part of the excitement of this race, as some of this year's young participants commented. The race will take place at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 17th, starting from the Almazara and finishing on San Antonio Avenue.
What is possibly the most festive weekend in all of Spain, and also in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region, is drawing to a close. In addition to Zaidín, Belver de Cinca, Candasnos, Ballobar, and the residents of Calle Nueva de Chalamera, are also celebrating the Assumption of Mary and Saint Roch these days.
