The majority of the peñar booths voted YES to returning to the Sotet venue, offered by the Fraga City Council, and to be distributed according to seniority.
Earlier this week , Peña Fragatina held an informational meeting so that its member booths could vote on whether or not they wanted to return to the Sotet fairgrounds. 148 booths attended , nearly 75% of the total, and all voted in favor of returning to the esplanade they had to abandon seven years ago, in 2017.
In the voting, 108 fan clubs indicated they wanted the new venue to be allocated according to seniority , 39 according to the current layout, and 1 by lottery. It's worth noting that the proposed configuration of the venue for 2024 differs from the old Sotet venue to comply with current flood regulations.
On the other hand, Peña Fragatina has already begun to announce details of the upcoming festivities. The 'Peña Mayors' have been chosen, although their identities have not yet been revealed, and the competition for the cover of 'La Bota' (the club's official publication) has been launched.
