The Asapme Huesca center in Fraga was able to share its history and the intervention it carries out with people with mental health problems and their families, at an individual and group level, with the PEEF students
Last Monday, July 1st, ten students from the "Acompañados" Experiential Employment and Training Program (PEEF) for Social and Healthcare Assistance to people in homes and institutions in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region visited the Asapme Huesca Mental Health Day Center in Fraga. They learned about our organization's history and the interventions we carry out with people with mental health problems and their families, both individually and in groups. They also learned about the importance of the Mental Health Awareness Program in preventing stigma.
Asapme expressed their gratitude for the interest shown in mental health and the warmth shown by both the students and the teacher. The association indicated that they will continue their collaboration on awareness initiatives in the coming months.
