The athletes from Fraga competed in Huesca, Zaragoza and Madrid, achieving a regional title, a bronze medal and several best marks of the season.
Club Atletismo Fraga was represented last weekend in competitions held in Huesca, Zaragoza and Madrid, where its athletes once again achieved good results both in training categories and in national events.
The first event was the Aragon Under-14 Championship in Huesca . Ainara Carné, Elia Luesma, and Laia Salamó competed there, delivering outstanding performances and returning with several personal improvements.
Laia Salamó was one of the standout names of the day, becoming the Aragon champion in the 80-meter hurdles . The athlete from Fraga also competed in the 80-meter dash, where she finished fourth. Meanwhile, Elia Luesma reached the podium thanks to her third-place finish in the long jump. Ainara Carné completed the club's representation in a competition that once again highlighted the high level of talent in Fraga's youth program.
The competition continued in Zaragoza with an outdoor meet of the federation, featuring Nacho Orús, Víctor Pardos, Izan Larroya, and Mariona Salamó. All four athletes achieved their best times of the season , taking advantage of an important day in their preparation for upcoming events on the regional calendar.
Collaboration with Hinaco Monzón in Madrid
The weekend was completed in Madrid, where several athletes linked to the Fraga Athletics Club collaborated with Hinaco Monzón in a Second National Division match.
Iván Gross won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.09 seconds. Fadwa also won the hurdles race, dominating with a time of 12.22. Nerea Santamaría finished third in the high jump after clearing 1,55 meters.
The representation from Bajo Cinca in the capital was completed by Mireya Oliver , an athlete from Osso de Cinca, who recorded a time of 25.24 seconds in the 200 meters flat in one of the most outstanding performances of the weekend.
