Queralt Vallés from Fraga becomes the youngest amateur radio operator in Spain to pass the radio operator exam at 11 years, 5 months and 24 days old.
The radio operator exam consists of two parts : the first relates to regulations, specifically the Royal Decree that governs the radio spectrum and the handling of equipment; the second is an electronics test, in which you must demonstrate knowledge of basic electronics (resistors, capacitors, transistors, etc.) and the stages that make up a radio transceiver (transmitter + receiver).
Queralt Vallés from Fraga passed the radio operator exam last week, becoming the youngest amateur radio operator in Spain with this qualification.
Furthermore, it so happens that the youngest and oldest amateur radio operators in Aragon are both in Fraga. Queralt EA2FDN (11 years old) and Emilio Cosculluela EA2FJ (92 years old) are, respectively, the youngest and oldest, which is why the Fraga Radio Club @EA2RCH is celebrating.
