This is the first time the festival has visited the capital of the Bajo/Baix Cinca region in its five editions.
The SoNna Huesca Festival, "Sounds in Nature," organized by the Huesca Provincial Council, arrived in Fraga for the first time on the evening of Sunday, July 7th. Around 150 people enjoyed the music of Argentinian artist Soema Montenegro in the village of Cardiel. The festival enriches the cultural program of the province and the Bajo/Baix Cinca region during the summer months, promoting multiculturalism and emerging artists. Provincial Deputy for Culture, Carlos Sampériz, was present for the festival's first visit to the city of Fraga after five editions, along with local authorities.
The Culture Councillor of the Fraga City Council, Mª José Barrafón, stated, “ It was a concert in a unique setting and it was very well received by the public, as 150 people traveled to Cardiel to enjoy the cultural event .”
“ We are very grateful to the Provincial Council because they have heeded our request and, for the first time since this festival began, it has reached our city and many residents of Fraga have been able to enjoy this program prepared by the Provincial Council ,” Barrafón celebrated.
Finally, the Culture Delegate of the Fraga City Council expressed her hope that " in the coming years we can once again enjoy this festival in our city , because its program is very beautiful, as it highlights culture and also the incredible and varied landscapes we have in our city and, of course, in our province ."
This year, the Bajo/Baix Cinca region has three stages within SoNna
The day before Fraga's performance, on July 6th, Ballobar enjoyed another performance at this festival. Furthermore, at the end of August, the Valonga Estate in Belver de Cinca will host the third concert of this event in our region.
