The fire has burned more than 11000 hectares and 18 towns have been evacuated; two others are under lockdown.
On August 10th, a fire broke out in Las Peñas de Riglos that in just 5 days has burned more than 11.000 hectares and for which more than 850 people have already been evacuated in total, belonging to the 18 affected towns, and two other towns have been confined.
As a result of the investigation carried out by the UPRONA of the Civil Guard of Huesca, with the support of UCOMA of the SEPRONA Headquarters deployed from Madrid, this Wednesday the alleged perpetrator of this forest fire was arrested, who after being placed at the disposal of the court has been ordered to be held in provisional imprisonment without bail in the Zuera penitentiary center.
In this extensive operation, the Civil Guard has a deployment involving agents from SEPRONA, Citizen Security, the PEGASO team from Teruel, USECICs from Aragon and Navarre, the Air Unit and the Traffic Group.
