During the ceremony, the Matrícula de Honor awards, the decorations for 20 and 25 years of service in the Local Police, and the shield of the City of Fraga to the National Police will also be presented.
The Fraga City Council will conclude the Faldeta festivities this Tuesday, Aragon Day, with the Honors and Distinctions gala and Book Day activities. At this ceremony, the Honor Roll Awards for Education and decorations for 20 and 25 years of service will be presented to local police officers. Additionally, the National Police will be awarded the City of Fraga's coat of arms in recognition of its bicentennial.
Regarding the Honors Awards, the Education Department will grant five scholarships. In total, the City Council will award €6.000, at a rate of €1.200 for each student who completed the 2022-23 academic year with honors in their Baccalaureate and Advanced Vocational Training studies.
Regarding the activities for Book Day, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, stalls selling books, roses, and crafts will be set up in the Juan Carlos I Gardens. At 12:00, the play 'Los duendes del baúl' (The Goblins in the Trunk) by the Caleidoscopio company will be performed in the same location.
