Nearly two hundred meters of fringe garlands will decorate one of the main roads of the municipality, forming the red and yellow flag.
Zaidín has once again adorned its streets with one of its most characteristic decorations. To mark the festivities of the Assumption, which begin this weekend with the opening ceremony, the Town Hall and the Festival Committee have decorated one of the town's main thoroughfares with a large Spanish flag made up of hundreds of strips of red and yellow fringe.
The decorations extend from the schoolyard to El Portal Street , covering the road with long rows of fringed garlands that together form the red and yellow flag. The display reaches approximately 200 meters in length , making this Spanish flag the largest in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region, even though it is a temporary installation.
The tradition of decorating the streets with pennants and garlands is still alive in many towns in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region. Adorning the streets with pennants and fringe during local festivals creates a festive atmosphere that keeps alive the memory and tradition of celebrations of yesteryear and evokes the warmth of summer in the countryside.

Zaidín revives the tradition of punk music concerts
This summer, Zaidín is bringing back one of the defining features of its cultural scene in the 90s : punk rock concerts. This coming August 8th , as part of the town's festive prelude, the band El Último Ke Zierre will perform in the schoolyard .
The performance, scheduled for 12:30 a.m., marks the return of a concert of this kind to Zaidín after approximately two decades without any events clearly belonging to this genre. During the 1990s, the town was known in the region for its punk music concerts, attracting a young audience from various parts of the surrounding area.
