The runner from Bajo/Baix Cinca will compete in the Absolute category 4×100 m Relay
Elena, who trained at the Fraga Athletics Club, currently trains and competes with the Valencia Athletics Club. In August 2022, she made history by becoming the first Spanish woman to compete in a 100-meter dash final at a World Championship.
The national team will train from January 14th to 28th at Precise Resort Tenerife. Selection criteria prioritized athletes with the potential to participate in the 2024 Nassau World Relays.
With this call-up, Elena Guiu continues to consolidate her position within athletics, in search of new goals and sporting achievements.
