The activity, organized by the City Council's Tourism Department, will take place on the morning of May 10th and will include a honey tasting.
The Fraga Town Council has organized a new tourism activity as part of its 'Flavors and Stories' series, which aims to promote the region and its local products . This time, the event will focus on the Cinca River area and local beekeeping, allowing participants to learn firsthand about the honey production processes in the region.
The activity will take place next Sunday, May 10th, and will begin at 10:00 a.m. The meeting point for participants will be the Reyes Católicos/Costereta Montañés roundabout, from where a guided walk along the banks of the Cinca River will begin . During this walk, participants will learn about the landscape, including details about the flora and fauna that characterize this river ecosystem.
After the river tour, the day will focus on the world of bees with a technical introduction to beekeeping. There will be an exhibition of the materials needed for honey extraction, and the steps involved in this traditional craft will be explained. To conclude the experience, participants will take part in a guided tasting where they can sample three varieties of honey produced in the area.
