A clear victory for the first team and a win after two overtimes for the Fraga girls on a day with mixed results at the youth level
When a club fields so many teams, it's rare for a weekend not to be described as a mix of highs and lows. This was the case again this past weekend in March for the various teams of Club Baloncesto Peña Fragatina , which concluded on March 21st and 22nd with notable victories for Alufema CB Peña Fragatina and the senior women's team , along with some good performances from the youth teams.
The men's team kicked off the weekend with a solid victory against CB Cappont (72-51) , in a game they controlled from start to finish without any major scares. The women's senior team also provided one of the weekend's most memorable moments, winning on the road against CB Bell-lloc (69-75) after two overtime periods.
In the youth categories, the boys' mini team secured an important victory against CB Mollerussa (75-49) and remains in contention for a place in the final. The girls' under-14 team also stood out, achieving a resounding win against CB Rosselló (3-53).
The rest of the day's results were less favorable. The junior boys' team lost to Força Lleida (55-68), the cadet boys' team lost to CB Seròs (40-69), and the cadet girls' team lost to Força Lleida C (76-47). The under-14 boys' team also failed to secure any points against CN Tàrrega (67-55), as did the under-14 girls' team, who fell to Joventut Badalona (47-57). The day's results were rounded out by defeats for the under-12 girls' team in Balaguer (62-12) and the under-14 girls' team, also in Balaguer (72-22).
