The competition took place from July 18th to 21st in Can Llong (Sabadell)
Iván de Dios and Nil Roca, both from Fraga, were the only swimmers from Huesca to compete in the Spanish National Youth Summer Championships, held in Can Llong, Sabadell. They were joined by 13 other swimmers from Aragon.
Laia Conesa, coach of the Fraga Swimming Club, accompanied the athletes from Fraga to this tournament, highlighting the excellent performance of both young men . Both Nil and Iván achieved personal best times during the competition, despite not reaching the podium.
Nil Roca:
- 50 breaststroke. Personal best, 17th place
Ivan of God:
- 50 freestyle. 26th place
- 100m freestyle. Personal best. 36th place
- 200 freestyle. 46th place
- 50 butterfly. 55th place
As Laia has indicated, this experience is very positive for both swimmers; it is not easy to reach a Spanish Championship and, in addition, to achieve a personal best during the competition.
