Intense second league matchday for the football teams of Bajo/Baix Cinca

Tough matches awaited some of the region's representatives on this second day of competition. Among the highlights were the official start of Osso de Cinca and Zaidín's campaigns in the second regional division.

With the official start of the Second Regional Division competition and, therefore, the first match for CF Osso de Cinca and CD Zaidín, it can now be said that all the teams in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region are underway . For the rest, the second matchday arrives, offering the chance to capitalize on any draws, secure their first points, or maintain the positive momentum from last weekend.

UD Fraga makes its home debut

After debuting at CD Brea and securing a valuable draw , UD Fraga, the top representative of local football, makes its home debut at La Estacada. They host Atlético Monzón in a match that both teams have already described as "very difficult."

On a slightly more non-sporting note, it will be the first day in which both UD Fraga teams and Peña Fragatina will display the logo of the Fraga Figs food seal , following the agreement reached this week with the Fraga city council.

In other news, the club is making an important appeal to the fans: from one hour before the match, anyone interested can come and collect their membership cards, which this year will be essential to access the stadium.

What does the day hold in store for us in the Regional Preferente league?

Fraga fans looking for football this weekend are in for a treat. In addition to the aforementioned match, Peña Fragatina will also be enjoying the atmosphere at La Estacada for the first time this season. They'll be playing at 12:00 on Sunday against Gurrea SD.

The organization has also issued a call for all its season ticket holders to collect their membership cards in order to ensure normal access.

The rest of the teams in this category also already know their schedules: UD Fraga B , who started the league spectacularly with a resounding 2-0 at home against Jacetano, travel to Nuevo Ranillas (Zaragoza) for the corresponding match against Atlético Ranillas.

Interestingly, the boys from Jaca will face a team from Bajo/Baix Cinca for the second consecutive matchday, as they host Ontiñena at their home ground (Sunday 15, 17:00), a team that has had a very good start to the season and, incidentally, already knows its potential opponents in the preliminary phase of the Copa del Rey.

First and second regional

This weekend's fixtures continue with the progress of the regional first division competition. CD Belver travels to Biescas , a team coming off a defeat in the first round, to play away at 17:30 PM, with the inherent challenges that entails. Meanwhile, Mequinenza CD also travels to face Lanaja, who thrashed their opponents 4-1 away from home in the first round.

In the second regional division, Osso de Cinca's opening match will be at home against UD Benabarre (Sunday the 15th, 17:30 PM at San Isidro), while CD Zaidín will travel to Estadilla (Sunday the 15th, 19:00 PM), a recently relegated team that will prove to be a tough first test. Given the short distance (45 minutes), the club is hoping to have some of its fans with them.
