The alleged perpetrators intended to carry out a robbery at the bar of the Fraga Bus Station, carrying tools and clothing to go unnoticed.
The same perpetrators are also accused of another robbery that occurred at the UD Fraga facilities, in the Estacada Football Field.
According to the statement issued by OPC Huesca, agents from the Fraga Civil Guard station, in collaboration with the Fraga Civil Guard's Territorial Judicial Police Team, have arrested two people as alleged perpetrators of two robberies, one of them occurring inside the bar at the Bus Station and the other in the offices of UD Fraga at the Estacada Football Field, both in the town of Fraga.
In the early hours of February 19, after being alerted by a citizen, agents of the Civil Guard of Fraga together with the Local Police of the same town, surprised two people "in flagrante delicto" as they were trying to steal the takings from three arcade machines inside the bar of the Fraga Bus Station.
The alleged perpetrators, at the time of the events, were dressed in clothing to avoid detection and used tools such as crowbars. The detainees are two men, aged 18 and 23, residents of the Segrià region (Lleida).
Subsequently, agents from the Territorial Team of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Fraga, in the process of the investigation, were able to solve another crime of robbery with force, which occurred on February 14 inside the offices of UD Fraga in the Estacada Football Field, as there was a coincidence both in the modus operandi, as well as in the evidence left at the scene of the events.
The proceedings carried out by the Civil Guard of Fraga, were handed over together with the detainees and the effects used for the commission of the crimes, to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Fraga, and they were released with charges.
