This Saturday, June 1st, the closing ceremony for the 2023/24 academic year took place.
This past weekend, the Rondalla de Peña Fragatina celebrated the End-of-Year Festival for its Jota School. On Saturday, we enjoyed an afternoon of jotas sung, danced, and played by all the students and teachers. After the festival, the traditional dinner was held with all the families to end the year on a high note.
This event marks the end of the 2023-2024 academic year, and now they begin a well-deserved summer break. The school is taking a break, but the Rondalla continues working on all the performances planned for this summer.
