Club Patín Fraga had to overcome a 3-2 deficit from the first leg and they did so by crushing the Italian team with a resounding 5-0 victory at home.
The fans turned out in force, filling the Sotet Pavilion to capacity for an afternoon of excitement and sporting euphoria. Argentinians Adriana Soto and Adriana Gutiérrez opened the scoring, netting the first two goals of the comeback. Before the final whistle, María Sanjurjo sent the crowd into raptures, scoring the third goal and practically sealing qualification.
After the break, it was unlikely that Jordi Capdevila's team would let the game slip away. Roller Matera couldn't defend against a Club Patín Fraga side that completely dominated the match and gave their opponents virtually no chances. Sanjurjo once again found the back of the net, scoring the home team's fourth goal, and Teresa Payá sealed the 5-0 victory.
The fans were a key element, cheering and applauding the players throughout the match and turning the Sotet Pavilion in Fraga into a real party. The supporters gave a special round of applause when Rebeca González entered the court, marking her first official match since recovering from a long injury. There was also applause and cheering for Leyre López, the substitute goalkeeper, who came on in the final stages of the game, demonstrating the affection the fans have for the players on this team.
Club Patín Esneca faced a 3-2 deficit from the first leg but managed to turn things around at home, finishing with a 7-3 aggregate victory. They will now compete in the WSE Champions League Final Four, which will take place on April 27th and 28th, and will face HC Coruña in the semifinals. The other semifinal will be between Vila-Sana and Generali Palau.
