The City Council will allocate €83.500 to this project: €42.500 for the renovation of structural elements, €31.000 for facade maintenance, and €10.000 for improving hygiene inside buildings.
The Fraga City Council has announced grants to promote the rehabilitation of buildings in the city that are over 50 years old. In total, the Council will allocate €83.500, divided as follows: €42.500 for the renovation of structural elements, roofs, and woodwork; €31.000 for facade maintenance; and €10.000 for improving indoor hygiene. The application period will be one month, beginning March 21st.
In the case of structural renovation projects, the grant will cover 60% of the total eligible expenses, up to a maximum of €3.000 per grant. For facade maintenance, the grant will cover 60% of the total eligible expenses, up to a maximum of €2.000 per grant. And for improvements to sanitation, the grant will cover 60% of the expenses, up to a maximum of €1.500 per grant.
The Councillor for Urban Planning, Esther Rubio, praised “the importance of this type of aid, which serves to refurbish the old buildings in our city and improve their safety, but also to encourage owners to carry out works and promote employment in our city to some extent.”
