Next May 16th, Fraga has prepared a full program to celebrate San Isidro, patron saint of farmers
The Fraga Town Council is once again organizing a full program to honor the patron saint of farmers, San Isidro . Next Saturday, May 16th, the residents of Fraga will celebrate with a program for all ages, taking place entirely outdoors at the La Estacada swimming pools.
The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the traditional mass in honor of Saint Isidore the Farmer. Following the mass, at 9:30 a.m., a community lunch will be held, organized in conjunction with the Saint Isidore Association. From 11:00 a.m. onwards, attendees can enjoy horseback riding and demonstrations of traditional work by the Fraga Equestrian Club.
The food and music offerings will begin at noon with the opening of the food trucks at 12:00 PM. The festive atmosphere will continue with a vermouth gathering and a concert by the band Nostalgics at 12:45 PM, followed by a Cool Music session between 14:15 PM and 15:30 PM.
The afternoon will be dedicated to children with a children's party starting at 17:00 PM , which will include a giant inflatable park, a traditional games area, face painting, and entertainment with a DJ. At 19:45 PM, a bingo game will be held with the AEIG Pintor Viladrich – Scouting group , followed by a party and a concert by Rumbitapop at 20:00 PM.
The final stretch of the day will begin at 22:00 PM with dinner and a concert by the local band Fraguel Rock. At midnight, it will be the turn of the Los Mejores concert, a tribute to great artists such as Estopa, Fito y Fitipaldis, El Canto del Loco (ECDL), and Melendi.
The party will continue until the early hours with DJ Erika – La Marquesa 's set at 2:00 a.m. and, to close the day, DJ Abel ML 's set from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
