This Saturday, March 2nd, the capital of the Bajo/Baix Cinca region will host the 7th Provincial Datchball Tournament
This event will be the largest ever held in the province and the second largest in the history of the Aragonese Federation. More than 820 players from 100 teams will gather at the Sotet Pavilion. There will be seven categories, ranging from 5 to over 60 years old. The competition will begin at 9:00 AM and the tournament will conclude at 8:00 PM the same day.
Along with the more than 800 players, family members and friends of the competing teams will travel from more than 30 municipalities in the province, in addition to invited teams from the areas of Lleida and Barcelona, as well as from other areas of Aragon, such as Caspe, Maella and Zaragoza.
A large influx of visitors is expected in the city and a significant impact on the restaurant sector, which begins its Gastronomic Week this weekend.
