More than 300 exhibitors and 600 brands gathered this year at the Gran Via venue in Barcelona. It was an essential event to discover all the latest developments and trends that will shape the construction sector in the coming years.
Several companies from the Bajo/Baix Cinca region attend this and other specialized trade fairs annually to continue offering the best service and the most innovative solutions for building and housing, adapting trends and new materials to the construction needs of each area. Last week, we accompanied Espacio Diseño and AgloFraga to the Construmat 2024 trade fair in Barcelona. Technical architect Daniel Coronas spoke to us about the latest developments in the sector, such as industrialized and timber construction.
In this regard, industrialized construction, which consists of manufacturing structural elements in a factory for later assembly on site, has stood out at the event as one of the most effective present and future trends in the industry, along with wood construction, new materials, and systems to make buildings more efficient in terms of energy and water savings.
On the other hand, Sheila Castañ, also from the Espacio Diseño studio , has spoken about the advantages of wood construction and the efficiency in environmental and sustainability issues of using this type of material.
The projects and innovations in home automation and construction site safety , such as those proposed by Alsina , have also attracted the attention of professionals from Bajo/Baix Cinca and the rest of the attendees at Construmat 2024.
