Esneca Fraga now knows the path to defend their Super Cup in Olot

The Fraga team will face Telecable on Friday, October 23, at 21:00 p.m. If they win the semifinal, they will try to defend their title on Sunday against the winner of the Vila-sana–Palau match.

Esneca Fraga now knows the path it must take to lift the Spanish Super Cup again . The defense of the title won in 2015 will begin next Friday, October 23, at 9:00 PM, against Telecable Hockey Club at the Pavelló Municipal d'Esports d'Olot. Ninety minutes earlier, the other half of the bracket will begin to take shape, with Vila-sana and Palau facing off for the first spot in the final.

The Royal Spanish Skating Federation has confirmed the schedule for a competition that will bring together four of the leading figures in Spanish women's hockey in Olot. For Jordi Capdevila's team, the challenge is clear: to defend their title.

The cable TV, the first obstacle to the title

The match against the Asturian team will close out Friday's women's games. The first semifinal between CP Vila-sana Coop. d'Ivars and Generali HC Palau will be played at 18:45 p.m. , meaning the Fraga players will know which team awaits them in the final before they even take to the court.

Beating Telecable would open the door to a new battle for the trophy just a day and a half later. The women's final is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th at 11:45 a.m. , while Saturday will be reserved for the men's semifinals.

Aina Arxé represented Esneca at the presentation

The Super Cup began to take shape this week in Olot. Aina Arxé, a player for Esneca Fraga, participated in the official presentation of the tournament at the town hall in the Girona province on Tuesday, September 29th .

Arxé shared the event with Xavi Barroso, a Barça player and representative of the current men's champion, as well as the Olot Sports Councillor, Aniol Sellabona, and the Federation's General Director, Xavier Moyano.

The event will also have the unique feature of bringing together the men's and women's Super Cups in the same venue over the same weekend , making Olot one of the major centers of national hockey for those three days. With the schedule now finalized, a few details of interest to fans who want to follow the competition remain to be announced. However, the Federation has confirmed that there won't be much longer to wait: it will soon announce the broadcast channels and platforms, as well as information regarding ticket and season pass sales.
