The Fraga Padel Club women's team achieved their first victory of the season this weekend in the Inter-Regional League, defeating AX Padel Barbastro at the Fraga Sports Complex. Barbastro , who came into the match undefeated, are considered one of the strongest teams in the championship. The hard-fought win, which went down to the wire, gives the Fraga team their first victory against a very demanding opponent.
The tie began with a match between the young players Lucía Miró and Ainara Carrillo against the visiting pair of Sese and Leen. The Fraga natives competed with intensity and delivered a high level of padel, but the greater experience of the Barbastro players ultimately prevailed, with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
The debutante Lucía Pasamán, alongside Silvia Tejedor, played a very demanding match. After a solid 6-2 start, the visitors rallied to level the match with a 2-6 win, forcing a third set. In the decisive set, the home pair maintained their focus and closed out the point for Fraga 6-3, tying the tie.
Earlier, in the third match, Ana Pérez and Laura Bagué had secured their victory with a dominant performance. The pair from Fraga gave Perat and Campillo no chance, winning clearly 6-1, 6-1 and securing a crucial point against an opponent who had been undefeated until then.

Both the senior and junior teams lost their respective away matches in Tamarite and Benasque, both by a score of 2-0.
The Inter-district League has a break next weekend. However, the official schedule remains active: the Fraga Padel Club's men's team will host CT María de Huerva from Zaragoza on Saturday the 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Sports Complex.
