SEPRONA is the unit of the Civil Guard specifically dedicated to the conservation of nature and the environment, water resources, and hunting, fishing and forestry resources.
The organizers of the 25th International Descent of the Cinca River in Canoes, which will be held on August 25th of this year and celebrates its 25th Anniversary, have announced that in this 2024 edition the Cinca Values award will be given to the Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA) of the Civil Guard of the Fraga company, extending it also to the SEPRONA of the town of Alcarràs (Lleida), belonging to the Lleida Command, for the support received by the latter for several editions.
This award recognizes the constant support, advice and close collaboration that SEPRONA has shown with this international sporting event over many editions.
To mark this recognition, a commemorative plaque will be presented to the SEPRONA representatives at the official trophy presentation ceremony in the podium area at the finish line in Mequinenza, on Sunday, August 25th, starting at 13:00 PM.
