The IES Bajo Cinca is organizing a new edition of one of its most established projects: the 13th edition of Intercultural Poetry , an event that promotes coexistence, diversity and culture through words.

An educational and cultural project that unites the entire community
Intercultural Poetry is much more than a one-off activity. It is a school-wide project involving students, teachers, and families, with the aim of creating a space for cultural exchange where poetry acts as a common thread.
For weeks, participants work inside and outside the classroom searching for, translating, rehearsing, and reciting poems in different languages , reflecting the cultural diversity present in the educational environment. The project also includes decoration, outreach, and interdisciplinary coordination tasks , reinforcing its cross-curricular nature.
Open and multicultural participation
One of the key aspects of this initiative is its inclusive nature. The center encourages anyone interested to participate , whether or not they are affiliated with the institute, and in any language, making the event a true showcase of cultures.
International cuisine to close the day
As is tradition, the event will conclude with a social gathering where attendees can sample typical dishes from different countries , provided by the families and the center itself, thus reinforcing the intercultural spirit of the meeting.
Call for participation and dissemination
The IES Bajo Cinca acknowledges that the date coincides with important events in the city such as the Fiesta de la Faldeta, but calls on the public to support and spread the word about an initiative that promotes values of integration, respect and cultural enrichment.
