The preliminary geotechnical study will be carried out and the space will remain closed between March 23 and 26.
The Fraga City Council has announced that the plot of land owned by Suelo y Vivienda de Aragón, located next to Calle Miguel Servet, where the construction of approximately 50 affordable rental homes with an option to buy is planned, will remain without parking for several days due to preliminary technical work.
Specifically, parking will not be allowed in this space from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23, until 17:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, during which time a geotechnical study of the land will be carried out.
These works are part of the development of the project announced by the Government of Aragon, which includes the promotion of around fifty homes intended for affordable rental with an option to buy after ten years.
As the Minister of Development, Housing, Logistics and Territorial Cohesion explained at the time, this action is part of the regional program to promote public housing in municipalities such as Fraga through public-private partnerships, with the aim of expanding the stock of affordable housing.
The geotechnical study is a necessary preliminary step to determine the characteristics of the land before the drafting of the project and the start of construction of this future residential development.
