Club Patín Esneca has fallen in the semifinals of the Copa de la Reina after losing 1-2 against Hoquei Club Palau de Plegamans
The Fraga team withstood the pressure and initial onslaught from the Catalan side. Goalkeeper Ana Ferrer kept a clean sheet in the first half, and Rebeca González gave the fans hope by putting her team ahead four minutes before halftime.
But after the break, shortly after the start of the second half, Palau turned the game around in two minutes. First, Carla Fontdegloria scored, and then Aina Florenza added another , completing the comeback and putting them ahead 2-1.
Finally, Palau de Plegamans, precisely the same rival that knocked Esneca out of the cup last year, has taken the victory and will go on to the final on Sunday.
Despite the defeat, it is worth highlighting the good performance of Club Patín Fraga , who still have a chance of being crowned champion of the League and the WSE Champions League.
