Three concerts, an exhibition and the screening of the film "Bird" complete the festival's program.
The 6th edition of the Jazz Torrent Sí Festival will begin on Thursday, July 11th with the presentation of the event and screening of the film "Bird" directed by Clint Eastwood, at Casa Ferrabrás.
On Friday, July 12th , in the Plaza de la Iglesia in Torrente de Cinca, the performance of "Scaramanga. Héctor Martín & Pere Miró" will take place . The group, composed of both musicians, accompanied by Abel Boquera and Arnau Julià, will transport the audience to the films of the most famous spy in history: 007, whose musical themes have served as inspiration for an album full of details that will captivate even the most demanding ears.
The event on July 13th will take place at the Hermitage of San Salvador, which will host the elegance of gypsy jazz and the rich musical traditions of the Balkans, courtesy of Bratia . This musical offering, a true allegory of brotherhood, is a must-see.
The final event of the VI Torrent Jazz Festival will be a performance by Hot Seven Apples , scheduled for July 14 at 21:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Square.
For 2024, the closing performance has been entrusted to this new musical group from Lleida that intends to "review the great composers and groups of jazz" from a somewhat more original perspective than we are used to.
