The alleged perpetrators stole from farms, agricultural warehouses, irrigation sheds and a municipal scale, in three towns in the Cinca Medio region.
An indoor marijuana plantation was found at the detainees' residence, with manipulation of the general electrical grid.
Agents from the ROCA Team of the Civil Guard of Fraga, within the framework of Operation YUNKES, have arrested three people and investigated another, as alleged perpetrators of six crimes of robbery with force, one crime of receiving stolen goods, one crime of cultivation and processing of drugs, one crime of fraud of electrical flow and one of belonging to a Criminal Group, the events occurring in the towns of Alcolea del Cinca, Pomar del Cinca, Santa Lecina and Tamarite de Litera.
Since last February, agents of the ROCA Team of the Civil Guard of Fraga have been aware of the commission of six crimes of robbery with force, where unknown perpetrator(s) had stolen various material intended for agricultural and livestock use, such as tools, irrigation pipes, sprayers, diesel, batteries and a trailer, in a farm, an agricultural warehouse, an irrigation shed, a company and a municipal weighing scale in three towns in the Cinca Medio region.
The value of the damage caused and the stolen items would amount to about €22.000.
Once the investigation began, the agents realized that the events were committed within a very limited time frame and thanks to the close collaboration with the Local Police of Monzón and the citizens, sufficient evidence was found to investigate and locate the possible perpetrators.
Following the actions taken by members of the ROCA Team, on March 15th they proceeded to arrest three people, on a plot of land located in the Cinca Medio region, finding inside the house some of the stolen items, and discovering an indoor marijuana plantation.
The detainees had also tampered with the main electrical grid to defraud the system. One of the three detainees was also charged with receiving stolen goods for using and subsequently selling them.
On April 26, the agents proceeded to investigate a fourth suspected perpetrator, linked to the previous crimes.
The three detainees and the one under investigation are men between 29 and 60 years old, residents of the Litera and Cinca Medio regions, respectively.
The ROCA Team of the Civil Guard of Fraga, prepared the proceedings which were delivered to the Court of Instruction No. 1 of Fraga, leaving the defendants free with the obligation to appear when required by the Judicial Authority.
