The fifth edition of Ocusport, the employability fair of the INEFC of Lleida, was held on the La Caparrella campus this Tuesday, March 12.
The event, held two years after its last edition, enjoyed excellent participation from both the university community and the organizations that attended this major job fair. Twenty-five participating companies and organizations welcomed INEFC students eager to learn firsthand about the career opportunities available to them.
Jovial Adventure , the only company in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region that offers outdoor sports and leisure activities, was present at this fair. They explained their business project to the students and discussed the career opportunities available to graduates in this sector. " We employ many instructors, and in addition to extracurricular activities at several schools in our region, we run camps and summer programs , such as the one we're holding this Easter or the summer camp we've organized in Fraga ," explained representatives from the Fraga-based company.
It's important to have qualified instructors with the appropriate certifications, as Jovial points out. " Most activities are geared towards children and teenagers, but we also run team-building projects, family leisure activities, and weekend activities for adults, such as kayaking or hiking ." That's why it's important to be in contact with universities and educational centers. Maintaining an active pool of qualified staff with people trained in the sector, who also have an interest in sports, leisure, and the natural environment, is a guarantee that things will run smoothly. These kinds of initiatives, which connect the business world with students, are very positive, and in the case of the Bajo/Baix Cinca region, its proximity to Lleida provides a significant pool of candidates.
