Next year, the National Tourist Interest Festival of Fraga will be held on Sunday, April 27th.
The Councillor for Culture, María José Barrafón, emphasizes that “the program is not only concentrated on the festive day or on that weekend, but La Faldeta is felt in Fraga during practically the entire month of April.”
Last Wednesday, a working meeting was held regarding the Day of the Faldeta (traditional skirt), with the participation of the councilors for Culture, Tourism, and Festivals, María José Barrafón, Verónica Alins, and Mapi Aquilué, along with technicians from the Fraga City Council. Following this meeting, it can now be announced that the next Day of the Faldeta will be April 27, 2025.
The head of the Culture department, María José Barrafón, has highlighted that “although there are still a few months to go before La Faldeta arrives, with a very special Pilar festival like this year's in between, work is already underway on the organization of one of the most important days for all the residents of Fraga.”
“There is a lot of work behind La Faldeta Day, since, as has been the case in recent years, the program is not only concentrated on the festive day or that weekend, but La Faldeta is felt in Fraga for practically the entire month of April thanks to the large number of activities that are prepared,” said Barrafón, who hopes that “this year’s success will be repeated in 2025.”
